Prof Bachmann receives this year's university teaching award for the course Hydromechanics

Prof Bachmann receives the teaching award for the Hydromechanics course on the BA Water Management degree programme at the Department of Water, Environment, Construction and Safety. Prof Bachmann is characterised by his "high level of commitment to teaching the students", "even going on bike tours". According to the jury in its report, he "really enjoys the subject, works in an experience-orientated and low-threshold manner", "almost like a family". It is "simply approachable", "not only for the students, but also for the colleagues", according to the jury. "It makes you want to study water management (again)," said one member of the selection committee.
