On 20 June 2026, children aged between 8 and 12 are once again invited to get a taste of university life – parents must stay outside. Each child will first be given a student ID card and will then be able to listen to two fascinating lectures and ask questions between 10 am and 12 noon:
“The Colosseum in Rome – How did the gladiators fight?” by Bettina Welzin, M.A., Winckelmann-Gesellschaft e.V. and
“Many minds, a colourful plan – how every child can learn well!” How does inclusion work? by Denise Schmit, Sabine Schulze and Dörthe Löfler, Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences.
Participation in the Stendal Children’s University is free of charge. The Children’s University is presented by the Winckelmann Society and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences.
