The aim of the ‘KlimaEcho’ research project is to promote the discussion of climate change using information design and interaction design in virtual reality (VR) experiences. In addition to the question of which data, e.g. from the German Polarstern Expedition 2023, is particularly suitable for implementation, research is to be carried out into how a VR experience must be designed in order to achieve the desired effect.

The “KlimaEcho” project under the project management of Prof. Steffi Hußlein is currently being funded by the European Regional Development Fund (“EFRE”) as part of the “Sachsen-Anhalt WISSENSCHAFT Forschung und Innovation” funding programme.

You can find more information about the research project on the website of the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal.
