The aim of the ‘WINT:Altmark’ research project is to network STEM education stakeholders with the regional economy to create a joint STEM structure. The central method is technology-orientated student companies, which make real STEM processes tangible for children, young people and families and involve regional businesses in the long term. The collaborative making approach in special schools and youth welfare centres creates access for girls and educationally disadvantaged pupils, particularly in rural areas.

The ‘WINT:Altmark’ project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and will run until 30 April 2027.

More information on the research project can be found on the website of the SpiRIT research group.
