The aim of the ‘MusiGeNuM’ research project is to strengthen the self-efficacy of pupils through digital learning support and to break down barriers in music lessons. Central to this is research into the conditions for success and utilisation scenarios of digitally supported learning scenarios. A particular focus is on improving practice processes and music reading skills, with digital technologies such as an interactive learning companion and eye-tracking methods playing a central role.

The ‘MusiGeNuM’ project, led by Prof. Dr Michael A. Herzog, is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and will run until 31 December 2026.
