New Member of the Board of Trustees at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences
We are delighted to welcome Professor Achim Förster as a new member of the Board of Trustees at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences.
Professor Förster is Vice President for Internationalisation and Teaching at the Technical University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt and brings with him in-depth expertise in media law, data protection and internationalisation. He is particularly involved in the cooperation with the German Jordanian University (GJU) – an important international partner for both universities.

For Doctoral Students: Continuing Education Programme in Global Health
The German Alliance for Global Health Research offers doctoral students from all disciplines a free, English-language continuing education programme in global health, which can be completed with a certificate. Workshop topics include ‘Introduction to document analysis approaches and mixed methods data visualisation’ and ‘Responsible conduct of science in the field of global health.’ The certificate is recognised by various German universities.

Research on Campus: WINT:Altmark
The aim of the ‘WINT:Altmark’ research project is to network STEM education stakeholders with the regional economy to create a joint STEM structure. The central method is technology-orientated student companies, which make real STEM processes tangible for children, young people and families and involve regional businesses in the long term. The collaborative making approach in special schools and youth welfare centres creates access for girls and educationally disadvantaged pupils, particularly in rural areas.
