Alumni Portraits: It is beautiful here!

Andreas Gutscher and Tanja Dietsch are alumni of the Health Promotion and Management programme at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences and were guests at the company contact fair on the Magdeburg campus in May 2025. Both work at the Institute for Applied Quality Promotion and Research in Healthcare, based in Göttingen. Research on Campus: KliKi - Climate health in child day care

The objective of the research project ‘Climate Health in Daycare Centres (KliKi)’ is to work with daycare centres to develop practical knowledge for promoting climate health. The focus is on participatory organisational development, through which climate protection and adaptation measures are to be anchored in everyday life at daycare centres. We are delighted to welcome Professor Achim Förster as a new member of the Board of Trustees at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. Professor Förster is Vice President for Internationalisation and Teaching at the Technical University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt and brings with him in-depth expertise in media law, data protection and internationalisation. The German Alliance for Global Health Research offers doctoral students from all disciplines a free, English-language continuing education programme in global health, which can be completed with a certificate. Niklas Simon works as an infrastructure planner at Deutsche Bahn. He develops plans and concepts to modernise the rail network and make it more reliable – with the aim of improving stability and therefore punctuality.
