His fascination with process and plant safety led him threw an obligatory internship to his current employer, GICON®-Großmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH, where he now works as a project engineer and branch manager in Bitterfeld-Wolfen.

Nora Küster-Dammaschke becomes the new Chancellor of Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. On July 10, 2024, the university senate elected her by a large majority. Her term of office at the university begins on August 1, 2025.
