Lukas Folkens is conducting research in the DryRivers project at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, where he is writing his doctoral thesis on low water management. He also lectures on environmental economics. He previously completed a bachelor's degree in business administration (dual) and a master's degree in engineering ecology at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences.
